Neurobuff provides:

• Cognitive-training games
• Performance metrics, analytics, and progress tracking
• Gamified features including XP, levels, badges, gems, and performance metrics
• A personalised skill-development journey

Neurobuff does NOT provide:

• Medical, psychiatric, psychological, or therapeutic advice
• Diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or cure of any condition
• Guarantees of cognitive improvement, IQ increase, memory enhancement, or performance outcomes

No result is guaranteed. Neurobuff is for entertainment, education, and self-improvement purposes only.

To use Neurobuff, you must:

• Be at least 16 years old
• Not be barred from using online services under applicable law
• Provide accurate information when creating an account

If you create an account on behalf of someone else, you confirm you have their permission.

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Not share your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
• Use a valid email that you control

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risks.

You agree NOT to:

• Use bots, scripts, automation, or exploits to gain XP, gems, or unfair progression
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service
• Manipulate game data, scores, or analytics
• Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
• Use systems in ways that overload or abuse Supabase, Stripe, or hosting infrastructure
• Impersonate other people
• Interfere with user experience, metrics, or gameplay

We may remove any content or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Neurobuff may offer free features as well as paid subscription tiers ("Subscriptions"). By purchasing a Subscription, you agree to:

• Provide accurate billing information
• Allow automatic recurring charges until you cancel
• Pay the listed price, including applicable taxes (VAT)
• Accept Stripe's terms of service, as our payment processor

Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. You will continue to have access until the end of the current period.

Refunds: In accordance with EU and UK consumer protection law, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase to request a full refund, no questions asked. To exercise this right, contact our support team or use the cancellation options in your account settings.

After the 14-day cooling-off period, refunds are issued at our discretion based on individual circumstances. You may not receive a refund after this period if:

• Your account was suspended for breach of these Terms
• The refund request is deemed to be abusive or fraudulent

All content on Neurobuff is owned by us, including:

• Games and game mechanics
• XP, gem, and progression systems
• UI/UX designs, logos, branding, artwork, animations
• Software code, 3D models, and audio
• Website content, text, and graphics
• Data structures, score systems, and analytics logic

Users may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works
• Resell or distribute any part of the Service
• Extract or scrape data, assets, or source code
• Clone the design, mechanics, or experience

This protection applies internationally.

Users may create or provide content including:

• Usernames and limited personalisation data
• Public posts and replies on community forums

Note: Profile avatars are selected from a curated list of unlocked icons; users cannot upload personal photos.

By posting or creating content, you agree that:

• You will not post spam, hate speech, explicit material, or harass other users.
• Your content does not infringe on third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
• You grant us a licence to display your posts and username within the platform where community features require it.

We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or delete any content or forum posts without warning if we believe they are inappropriate or violate these Terms.

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains:

• What data we collect
• How we store and secure it
• How long data is retained
• Your rights under the UK GDPR

We process your data as described in the Privacy Policy and ask for separate consent where required.

Neurobuff is provided on an "as available" basis.

We may:

• Temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security, or updates
• Make changes to features, games, or UI without notice
• Limit access to certain users or regions
• Discontinue parts of the Service

We are not liable for:

• Downtime
• Maintenance windows
• Data loss
• Delayed or missing analytics

Neurobuff provides performance metrics, analytics, and game results on a best-effort basis.

You acknowledge that:

• Scores may be affected by device performance
• Analytics may contain errors
• XP, gems, and progression may change as we update the platform
• You have no property right to XP, levels, scores, or virtual items

We may adjust, reset, or remove data as needed for integrity.

Neurobuff is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Cognitive improvement
• Accuracy or reliability of analytics
• That games will be error-free or uninterrupted
• That results reflect real-world cognitive ability

You assume full responsibility for how you use the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not liable for loss of data, XP, scores, account progress, or virtual items
• We are not liable for issues caused by third-party services such as Stripe, Supabase, or Google

Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months.

Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in abusive or illegal behaviour
• You manipulate gameplay, progression, or XP
• You compromise security or infrastructure

You may delete your account at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or via the platform.

Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
